* Fungsi : Sebagai Pembentuk verba pasif khusus mem, per,-i
* Makna :

1.  Menyatakan makna dibuat supaya ber-i atau diberi sesuatu yang terdapat pada bentuk dasar. Contoh: diperlengkapi (dibuat supaya berpelengkapan/ diberi pelengkap).
2. Menyatakan makna dibuat/ dijadikan supaya (lebih) seperti yang terdapat pada bentuk dasar. Contoh: diperbaharui (dibuat/ dijadikan supaya (lebih) baru).
3. Menyatakan makna dikenai laku/ tindakan. Contoh: dipelajari (dikenai tindakan belajar).
